Join us for a vibrant and fun-filled cookie decorating class! You’ll get to dive into the full cookie experience—baking and decorating your own delicious cookies from scratch!
We’ll begin by making our famous Schoolhouse No-Chill Sugar Cookie Dough, rolling it out, and cutting out our sugar skull cookies. While the cookies bake and cool, we’ll prepare the royal icing—mixing, coloring, and loading it into piping bags. Once the cookies are ready, we’ll dive into decorating techniques, including outlining, flooding, and adding 3D elements.

Diwali Delights Family Dinner
In this hands on cooking class, we will make an Indian dinner in recognition of the Hindu festival of Diwali. Diwali celebrates the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.
During the class we will divide into groups to make the different courses, and then we will come together to enjoy our feast!

Join us to learn how to whip up delicious waffles, create a colorful fruit salad, and top it all off with homemade whipped cream!
This class is great for learning a variety culinary skills—mixing and measuring batter, practicing knife techniques, and hand-whipping cream. It’s a sweet time in the kitchen!

Bagel Workshop for Families
Rise and Shine! It's time to make the bagels!
In this class, we will be making bagels from scratch. You will learn all the tips and tricks for creating your very own chewy bagels with a golden crust. We will cover how to properly measure flour, how to knead without a machine, how to shape bagels, and how to boil and bake!
During the rising time, we'll mix up a veggie cream cheese for the perfect bagel topping!
Please register for each person in your group. $30/person
Thanksgiving cupcake wars!
Young bakers will design 6 cupcakes.
They will have a blast using candies, cookies, frosting and sprinkles to create a flock of goofy turkeys or whatever they like! We'll have plenty of creative inspo on hand.
Each child will make 6 cupcakes to take home in a bakery box to share.
- we prebake cupcakes so that they can have more time designing + decorating them but they can add flavors and fillings to their cupcakes.

NUT FREE - no nuts will be in the candy or toppings.
Apple Cider Donuts (AGES 5-11)
We welcome Fall with one of our favorite recipes: APPLE CIDER DONUTS.
Young chefs will make homemade apple cider in our juice press and then mix up a batter with all of the warm spices of Fall.
While donuts are baking the kids will decorate adorable boxes to take home their 1/2 dozen donuts to share with you.
They will practice measuring and mixing while learning about the seasonal ingredient that make these donuts so special.
Maple Leaf Cookies: Family Class
Kids will enjoy marbling our super easy sugar cookie dough, stamping out leaf cookies, and then glazing them with pure maple syrup. They are so beautiful and delicious and a perfect Fall treat. Little hands will love this project and older kiddos will, too!
$30 per person.

Mexican Family Dinner
In this hands on cooking class you'll learn how to make delicious homemade corn tortillas. They are so much fun to make with different (natural) colored masa to create tortilla art.
Adults will make part of the menu and the kids will make part of the menu and we all come together for dinner!

Tater tot turkey trot hotdish: a fundraiser for the harris/walz campaign
Join us for a fun-filled event to support the HARRIS + WALZ Campaign!
Cheryl and Sarah will be stepping up to demonstrate how to make a mouthwatering hotdish straight from Tim Walz's own recipe collection. Get ready for the famous "TATER TOT TURKEY TROT" hotdish!
As we indulge in this delicious dish, we'll also hear from a local voter advocacy group, sharing valuable insights to keep us all energized for the big day.
Enjoy refreshments, desserts, and more as we celebrate and count down to a victory for democracy on November 5th.

Teen Pizza + Piping Party!
This pizza and piping party is a perfect evening activity for your teen and their friends!
We will start by making homemade pizzas for dinner. Then we'll dive into decorating cakes and play with different piping tips and learn piping techniques! Teens will bring home their cake to show you their masterpiece!

Come join the latest cake trend and make a comic book- inspired cake slice! This class will be all about transforming a cake into an optical illusion with frosting and fondant.
This class is for bakers aged 11-15!
Pop Tarts - Caregiver and Child
Cook with your child and let us clean up the mess! This is a wonderful activity for children and parents, grandparents, or anyone who would like to spend a little time with the child in their life!
We will learn to make and work with pie dough, how to make a filling, and decorate our pop tarts with a glaze and sprinkles. Nothing tastes better than treats that you make yourself!
This class is suitable for all ages 3+. Registration includes 1 adult and 1 child. You can add an extra child for $25.

Kids will love exploring different decorating techniques to create this beautiful trio of Spring Cupcakes with their caregiver.
Dipping strawberries in candy melt, making coconut nests, using marhsmallows to create little bunny feet. So cute and creative!
Kids will make cupcakes from start to finish and feel so proud of the things that you learn and make together.
Please register each person in your group @ $35/each.

COOK THE BOOK SERIES - TODDLER - 7 YRS.
What do kids love more than cooking? Storytime! We love combining fun and inspiring foodie books and delicious recipes for our young chefs. It's a great way to spend the morning with your little one as we explore a new recipe.
Registration includes 1 adult and 1 child (you only need to register 1 person) If you'd like to bring 2 kids, please add one on at check out for $25. They will make the recipe, too.
You don't need to bring anything but may bring aprons/ water bottles if you like.
Classes are 10-11am. Please arrive up to 15 mins before to get settled in so that we can start cooking!
We can usually make substitutions for dietary restrictions and allergies - please give us advance notice. :)

WATERCOLOR HEARTS COOKIE CLASS
Students will bake beautiful sugar cookies from scratch and while they bake they will paint fondant with "water colors". Young bakers then stamp out their fondant hearts and attach them to cookies with homemade buttercream to create the cutest edible Valentines ever. They'll take their cookies home in sweet little boxes to present to their loved ones.
Valentine Donuts Class - caregiver/ child
Kids will love measuring and mixing up this chocolate donut batter with you. While they bake, we'll make a yummy raspberry glaze for donuts and decorate them with Valentine's Day Sprinkles.
Each child makes 6 donuts to take home in a bakery box to share with you.
You may add an additional child for $25 at registration.
$75 includes both the caregiver and 1 child. :) it's a date.
ombre mini cakes with chocolate filagree
We love this project!
Young bakers will make 3 different sheet cakes (3 shades of pink) and whip up homemade buttercream. While cakes bake and cool, they'll practice the edible art of chocolate filigree to make cake toppers for their cakes.
Each baker makes (2) 3 tiered 4" cakes to take home to share with you!
Jan 16 - day off “SOUP + BREAD” CAMP - AM CAMP + PM CAMP
It's a day off of school and we'll be exploring food justice at the Schoolhouse with a SOUP + BREAD CAMP.
Young chefs will learn about the many resources in our community for families that are experiencing food insecurity.
We'll chop lots of veggies (they love using all of our fun tools) to make a Moroccan Veggie Soup and homemade flatbreads. Each child will bring home a bowl of soup for you to taste, too! They will love this recipe.
While the soup simmers, campers will help us organize and pack up our donations to BEYOND HUNGER for our WINTER FOOD DRIVE.

Families will learn how to make mini pot pies (chicken or veggie) complete with homemade pastry crust. So delicious! For dessert, we'll bake delicious carrot cake bundt cakes with cream cheese frosting.
