GINGERBREAD PEOPLE PARTY - for families
We welcome Fall with one of our favorite recipes: APPLE CIDER DONUTS.
Young chefs and their caregivers will measure and mix together a delicious batter that includes reduced apple cider for the most amazing flavor!
While donuts are baking the kids will decorate adorable boxes to take home their 1/2 dozen donuts to share with you.
They will practice measuring and mixing while learning about the seasonal ingredient that make these donuts so special.

PIZZA PARTY - A FAMILY COOKING CLASS
It's a pizza party!
We'll start class by mixing up our delicious pizza dough!
While the dough rests, we'll make chocolate chip cookies, carrots sticks for our hummus and homemade lemonade.
We'll then shape and bake our pizzas for a yummy dinner!
Menu:

We can accommodate dairy and egg allergies but we can't make this menu gluten free. All classes are nut free.
Recommended for kiddos 3+
KIDS’ NIGHT OUT cooking class - pizza + hot cocoa donuts
The kids need a night off. Lol.
Drop them off with us for a special event in the Schoolhouse Kitchen. We'll start by making homemade pizzas. Rolling our own fresh dough, topping with sauce, cheese and a choice of great toppings.
(baby carrots and apples and other parent approved sides, of course, too).
After dinner and game + craft time, we'll roll up our sleeves and make delicious HOT COCOA CUPCAKES!
- we can be inclusive of allergies - just let us know!
- no need to bring anything... you are welcome to bring a water bottle.
hot cocoa cupcakes - class for kids
Kids will learn how to make their own hot cocoa mix, make homemade "hot cocoa" cupcakes with vanilla whipped buttercream and sprinkles and mini marshmallows. So yummy!
Each child makes 6 cupakes to take home to share - if you are lucky.
Kids learn:
-proper measuring
- proper mixing (yes there is a right way! to make fluffy cupcakes)
- how to make homemade buttercream
- how to make hot cocoa mix from scratch
Fun class! Cozy core to the max in our warm and inviting kitchen.

PASTING MAKING 101 - A CLASS FOR FAMILIES
In this hands on class, the whole family will learn how to make fresh pasta dough, roll it into sheets and then cut beautiful fettuccine noodles!
We'll also cut up some veggies for roasting in the oven to serve alongside our pasta with our homemade simple tomato sauce or butter + cheese for a delicious lunch!
This is a very active and engaging class! Best for kids 4+. Little ones love this class as much as adults!
Pasta includes egg + wheat and it's not possible to make substitutions in this class due to allergies.
$40/ person - everyone in your group must register.
CHINESE NEW YEAR - FAMILY COOKING CLASS & DINNER
Let's celebrate the Year of the SNAKE!
Families will love cooking together and discovering the flavors of Chinese New Year. In this hands-on cooking party, we'll chop veggies for LONGEVITY NOODLES, create a delicious CHAR SIEW MEATBALLS and make ssssuper sssilly SSSSNAKE COOKIES (from sugar cookie dough).
Please register each person in your group for this event. Everyone will be participating and enjoy cooking and eating together!
Cinnamon Rolls (ages 5-11)
Celebrate the change in season by waking up to fresh cinnamon rolls!
In this class we'll make an enriched yeasted dough, roll it out and then cover it with butter, cinnamon and sugar. It's fun to roll up and slice, too!
This is a TAKE AND BAKE class. We'll package your rolls for easy baking on Sunday morning (or you can freeze them)!

Cook the Book: Dragons Love Tacos (caregiver+ child (ages 2.5+)
If there's one thing we know for sure, it's that dragons LOVE tacos!
Inspired by the book, Dragons Love Tacos, by Adam Rubin, we will make homemade tortillas together using a tortilla press!
Each caregiver/ child team will make the recipes together. You are welcome to take it home or you may stay to eat together.
We'll read the book while an instructor cooks the tortillas.
Please register each person in your party.
You don't need to bring anything but may bring aprons/ water bottles if you like.
Cook the Book: Cupcakes Everywhere: One Sweet Tale of Overcoming Infertility
Join us for a special treat with local author, Erin Sarris! We will make cupcakes and buttercream frosting for a sweet treat. While our cupcakes bake, Erin will read her new book, Cupcakes Everywhere: One Sweet Tale of Overcoming Infertility. We’ll learn about how sometimes cupcakes are not so easy to make!
This is a caregiver and child class- no one will be sitting on the sidelines! :). Please register each person in your party.
Cook the Book: Arnie the Donut (ages 2.5+)
Arnie the Doughnut has no clue doughnuts were made for eating! He will do everything he can to not be eaten by Mr. Bing!
Inspired by the book, "Arnie the Doughnut" by Laurie Keller, we will make homemade donuts!
Each caregiver/ child team will make the recipes together. You are welcome to take it home or you may stay to eat together.
We'll read the book while our donuts bake.
Geared towards ages 2.5-6 years old
