WINTER COOKING CAMP - AGES 5-11 YRS
REGISTER KIDDOS FOR A VERY PLAYFUL DAY IN THE SCHOOLHOUSE KITCHEN!

In the morning, campers make their own lunch and in the afternoon they make their own dessert!

Out focus is on fun skill building and lots of hands on cooking and baking.

The day is packed with fun activities including games, crafts, and free playtime. If the weather cooperates, we'll head to the local park after lunch for some outdoor time.

It's a day full of creativity, cooking and play.

FULL DAY CAMP DAYS INCLUDE:

DECEMBER: 23, 26, 27, 30
JANUARY: 2, 3 + 6
(1/2 day on 12/31)

9AM-3PM

$110/ day
before care available at 8am at checkout ($10)

SCHEDULE:
8-9am - Early drop off (please choose this option at registration $10)

9am - Welcome! Get settled in and meet new friends, games, crafts
9:30am - Prepare first recipe/ lunch
11am-1pm - Lunchtime, games, crafts, possible walk to local park (weather dependent)
1pm - Prepare second recipe/ snack
2:30pm - Finish crafts and clean up!
3pm - see you soon!

Please bring a labeled water bottle and dress kid for mess.

You may bring additional nut free snacks lunch if you like but we encourage children to eat what we prepared together.

All menus are nut free and we can accomodate most allergies with advance notice - please note allergies in registration and we'll reach out if we have questions.

Thursday 12/26 - French Toast Casserole/ Eggs/ Fruit Salad + Sun Butter Blossoms

Friday 12/27 - Ramen Bowls + Hedgehog Cookies

Monday 12/30 - Black Bean Enchiladas + Penguin Brownies

Tuesday 12/31 - NYE Cupcakes 1/2 day camp 9-11:30am

Thursday 1/2 - Homemade Potstickers + Hot Cocoa Donuts

Friday 1/3 - Homemade Goldfish Crackers + Tomato Soup + Winter Break Cupcake Wars

Monday 1/6 - Homemade Spaghetti + Simple Tomato Sauce & "Spaghetti + Meatball" Cupcakes (they look like Spaghetti + Meatballs but are made with sweets!). 


NOTES ABOUT OUR CAMPS:

Allergies: We can accommodate most food allergies and do not serve any peanuts or tree nuts.
When you register your child please list any food allergies. Most recipes are vegetarian and if there is meat involved, we can offer a vegetarian option.

Accommodations: We strive to welcome everyone at the Schoolhouse and are committed to providing a safe environment for all students. If your child may need behavioral/ emotional accommodations, please let us know when you register or before camp begins so that we can be aware and do our best to be inclusive.
Physically rough, destructive or disruptive behavior is not permitted as we are in a kitchen setting and you will be asked to pick-up your camper if they repeatedly engage in behavior that is unsafe or disruptive.

Cancellation Policy for Camps:

CHANGES:

We will change registration with a $25 admin fee

CANCELLATION:

2+ wks notice = refund - $25 admin fee

Less than 2 wks notice = credit - $25 admin fee

Less than 1 wks notice = no credit offered. You may transfer camp to another child. Email us to let us know. CHERYL@iloveschoolhouse.com
note - we can not offer credits or transfers with less than 1 week notice. no exceptions.

What to bring:

  • WATER BOTTLE with name clearly labeled

  • Close toed shoes are ideal and tying long hair back is helpful & dress for mess!

  • Outdoor Gear for park play

Arrival + Dismissal:

Camp staff will be ready to check in campers 10 mins before camp is scheduled to begin.

Staff will greet you with the roster. Please greet the instructor with the roster and we'll check in your camper.

At registration you will be asked about your drop-off + pick-up preferences:

- My child/ren can leave at the end of camp without my oversight

- I would like you to release my child/ren to me (or another caregiver).
