mochi donuts class

  • Schoolhouse Kitchen + Studio 349 Ashland Avenue River Forest, IL, 60305 United States (map)

We’re going to experiment with UBE!

Mochi Donuts are "on trend" for good reason. They are made with the same rice flour and MOCHI ice cream is made with and they are kind of chewy on the inside while crisp on the outside. Young bakers will learn how to make the batter, scoop it into donut pans and decorate them with several glazes.

One option with be an UBE glaze! It's a deep purple sweet yam that makes for a yummy, slightly nutty? (it has no nuts) and not too sweet glaze. They can try it or give it a pass. :)

each baker goes home with a 6 pack of MOCHI DONUTS to share with family.

ages 5-12 yrs.
