Sugar Skull Cookie Kit
This fun project makes about 2 dozen sugar skull cookies that you decorate with royal icing and sprinkles. So creative!
Fun for kids of all ages. Even preschoolers would LOVE making these with the help of an adult. The sugar cookie dough is made from simple ingredients (butter, salt, flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla, baking soda) and it’s very easy to work with. It can be rolled out over and over!
Flour your work surface and roll out the dough. Using the SUGAR SKULL COOKIE CUTTER, stamp out as many skulls as you can. Transfer to baking sheet. You can gather up the dough scraps and roll out again to make more cookies.
Using the back of the cutter press an imprint into each cookie.
Bake at 350° for about 12 minutes or until lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and cool completely before decorating. This project is an afternoon of fun art + baking.
