It's a day off of school and we'll be exploring food justice at the Schoolhouse with a SOUP + BREAD CAMP.
Young chefs will learn about the many resources in our community for families that are experiencing food insecurity.
We'll chop lots of veggies (they love using all of our fun tools) to make a Moroccan Veggie Soup and homemade flatbreads. Each child will bring home a bowl of soup for you to taste, too! They will love this recipe.
While the soup simmers, campers will help us organize and pack up our donations to BEYOND HUNGER for our WINTER FOOD DRIVE.
Cooking + Learning at the Schoolhouse to celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
$50/ CAMPER - AGES 5-11
Please bring any dry pantry staples for our food drive.
